In the PeekSmith app, you can not only connect to PeekSmith, you can also connect and use it with many other devices, like Teleport.
Connecting to Teleport
- Turn on your Teleport device.
- Open the PeekSmith app.
- Go to Settings and find the Teleport section.
- Tap List Device and select your Teleport device from the list.
To send text to Teleport, you will also need another device, such as the SBMote, which must be connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
Configuring and Sending Text to Teleport
Configure Action Control:
- Once Teleport is connected in the app, scroll down in Settings to find the Action Control menu.
- Enable the Monitor Volume button.
- In the Volume Up section, select Text to Teleport.
Send Text to Teleport:
- Go to the Start menu in the PeekSmith app.
- Tap Send Text, enter the desired message, and press Send.
- This saves the text, so now you only need to press the button on SBMote to send the message to Teleport instantly.
