Just received my Iarvel Post-It Pad and it’s seriously impressive. It looks totally natural, the writing shows up almost instantly on my PeekSmith 3, and the text recognition in the app is spot on. Super easy to use, great distance, and the reset feature is a game changer for pre-show.
And Tony Antoniou’s wallet? Absolute must-have. It’s beautifully made and hides everything perfectly – makes the pad feel like a polished professional tool. This one’s definitely staying in my working set.

Alright, let me just say this: this thing is absolutely killer. I’ve been hesitant about bringing electronics into close-up sets, but this feels like it sidesteps that concern entirely. There’s something charmingly innocent about a regular sticky note pad… and that’s exactly what this looks and feels like. It’s clever. It’s sneaky. And it works really well.
The response time is snappy – it almost mirrors what’s being written in real-time on the PeekSmith app. And speaking of that, the PeekSmith 3 integration is brilliant. I already rely on my PeekSmith 3 heavily, and this pad just slotted right into the ecosystem like it was born to be there. The text recognition built into the PeekSmith app is surprisingly accurate too – even with messy drawings or fast writing, it held up.
Battery life? Solid. Connection? Instant. Range? I was in another room and it still caught the writing. That’s wild.
I love that you can adjust the reset timer and auto-save images – great for pre-show setups or when you want a clean reset without drawing attention. The writing area isn’t the full pad, but that’s a non-issue – people naturally write in the middle anyway.
Now, I do agree with others who mentioned the pad feels a bit stiff compared to a real Post-It pad. That’s probably the only minor nitpick I’ve got. But it’s nothing a good case can’t fix – and Tony Antoniou’s wallet takes care of that in style. Seriously, the wallet Tony supplies is fabulous – it elevates the entire device. Not only does it hide the method completely, it makes everything feel more polished and professional. I’d honestly say the wallet is a must-have.
(I saw Tony just restocked a new batch – grab one before they vanish again. Mine did!)
One final note: I wish the pen looked a little more like a regular Sharpie or even something a little less “tech-y” – but function-wise, it works great. Might try modding it a bit for cosmetic purposes.
