Overview
This guide will show you how to connect PeekSmith 3 directly to Scrabble by Labco Magic without using your phone.
Starting with firmware v1.9.1, PeekSmith 3 supports direct Bluetooth connection with Scrabble. When neither device is connected to a phone or another external device, they can pair with each other. Once connected, PeekSmith 3 will display the letters placed on the Scrabble stand, along with their individual point values and the total score in the top right corner.
How to Connect PeekSmith 3 to Scrabble
Follow these steps to establish a direct connection:
- Press and hold the right button on your PeekSmith 3 device for three seconds.
- PeekSmith 3 will begin scanning for available Bluetooth devices.
- Ensure that the Scrabble device is not connected to any other application.
- Once connected, PeekSmith 3 will start displaying real-time information from Scrabble.
