App Update

Updating the firmware on your PeekSmith 3 device is easy with the PeekSmith application. This is the recommended, easiest, and most straightforward way to update the firmware. It only takes a few minutes and requires no technical knowledge. Simply follow the instructions in the PeekSmith application to complete the firmware update process.

Steps:

• go to the Settings tab in the app,
• tap on the Settings button next to the PeekSmith device name
• scroll down until you see a yellow firmware update button, tap it, and
• follow the instructions.

Additionally, the app displays a notification on the home screen if a firmware update is available. If you don’t see it, then probably you have the latest firmware the app knows about.
